Test Results

Patients requesting test results carried out at the Surgery can contact the reception staff after 10am (results are normally processed and received within 5 working days).

For further information see: How to understand your medical test results?

Blood Tests

A blood test involves a doctor or a nurse, taking a sample of blood for analysis at a laboratory.
This can help in
  • in ascertaining your general state of health
  • confirm the presence of a bacteria or viral infection
  • see how your organs are working
  • screening for genetic conditions
For further information see: Blood tests

X-rays

An X-ray is a safe and painless procedure often used to produce images of the inside of the body. The GP decides whether or not a X-ray is necessary in determining the state of your health. Should it be necessary, the GP will contact you when the results come back to the Surgery.
